Big Local Works is a Bermondsey-based charity (No: 1182561) and the on-the-ground delivery partner and funder for the Opportunity Bermondsey hub. Founded in 2017 as a legacy of the Big Local South Bermondsey Partnership, they provide the resident-facing support that turns platform listings into real outcomes for local people.

Pearl Yard Bermondsey

Pearl Yard is delivered by the Fizzy Bermondsey ownership consortium, managed by Greystar Group, on the former Peek Frean Biscuit Factory site in Bermondsey. The development commits to 397 construction jobs (minimum 199) for Southwark residents, 98 new apprenticeships and 367 training places, backed by contractual penalties if targets are missed.
